Wish to have ability to avoid writing document declarations for StAX

Just to clarify - do you mean to avoid writing the XML declaration

or to avoid calling outputStream.writeStartDocument() ?

Write the XML Declaration. Defaults the XML version to 1.0, and the encoding to utf-8

Added a constructor to avoid this...

new StaxWriter(out, false)

which if false is specified no start/end document event will be generated

Also, I think that out.close() should not be called if writeStartDocument is false. I use this class to generate parts of XML document, so after StaxWriter finished I may want to write something else to XMLStreamWriter. Now it works with out.close() but this can change later or with other StAX implementations.
